The project was delayed due to pandemic issues, which restarted in mid-2021. The modules implemented were quite complex, including sales, distribution, purchasing, production, maintenance, and accounting & finance. There are more than 200 users who use the system, with operations working non-stop for 24 hours. According to Bhakti Utama, project manager from PT. Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Mfg., this project aims to improve the system capabilities and reduce the risk due to some end of support software and hardware. The IFS system is critical because it is the backbone of all existing business processes, operates 24 hours, and is integrated with systems that connect with customers and suppliers.
